Sistan-Baluchestan Province
The Baluch are the largest Ethno-linguistic group in Sistan va Baluchestan. They are divided into the Western Baluch, the Southern Baluch and the Bashkardi. Interspersed among them are the Brahui who are a closely aligned Dravidian people. The Baluch confederation in Pakistan what lead by the Khan of Kalat in the 18th century who was leader and a member of the Brahui.

In Southern Sistan va Baluchestan are the Southern Baluchi who do needlework and some flatweaves. In the north of the province are the Western Baluchi who produce most of the Baluch pile rugs. The Western Baluch include the ethno-linguistic sub-groups Rakhshani (Raxshani) and Sarawani.
Raising Camels is still a mainstay of the Baluch way of life. Zahedan is just south of where Afghanistan Pakistan and Iran come together.
